You Asked for it: Micron RealSSD C300 Random IOPs
by Micron - 2013-05-24 10:19 - 4,066 views
Watch the RealSSD C300 Iometer test results for 4K random read/writes. A number of people asked to see the random read/write IOPs numbers for the new C300 drives we announced Wednesday. This video features one of our Apps guys running the C300 through the Iometer tests. These are 100% random read/write tests with 4K packets and a queue set to 32. System Details: Were using the same Intel Core2Duo system as previous videos, its equipped with our 256GB RealSSD C300 drive and a 6 Gb/s SATA host bus adapter. We also test it at SATA 3 Gb/s to show how it will perform in current systems. I think you're going to like the results.
Micron RealSSD C300 vs. HDD—Everyday Tasks
by Micron - 2013-05-24 10:18 - 4,450 views
Watch our new RealSSD C300 go head-to-head with a hard drive in everyday tasks. The C300 drive outperforms every client SSD currently available on the market, which means were absolutely burying typical hard drive scores. To show you how that speed translates to the real world, we pitted our 256GB C300 SSD against a 7200rpm HDD in identical systems. We then tackled a handful of everyday tasks—boot up, file copy, and opening large files in Adobe® Photoshop®. System Details MoBo: Intel® X48 chipset based Processor: Intel Core2Duo E8500 Memory: Micron® 2GB DDR3 1066 (PC3-8500) OS: Windows® 7 Pro 64-bit
Fastest Client SSD: Micron RealSSD C300 vs. Leading Competitor
by Micron - 2013-05-24 10:17 - 3,759 views
Watch as Microns® RealSSD C300 posts better performance numbers than any client SSD currently available on the market. In this performance test, Microns Justin Sykes runs standard benchmarking tools (PCMark Vantages disk suite and the classic disk benchmark ATTO) on identical systems. The only difference: a 256GB Micron RealSSD C300 in one system and the leading competitors 160GB SSD in the other. Tripling NAND Performance in Mobile Systems
by Micron - 2013-05-24 10:13 - 4,472 views
The test pits our single- and dual-plane SLC devices and NANDCode™ FTL software against Samsungs OneNAND™ running on Microsofts FTL. The test system is a TI OMAP™ 3430 development platform running Windows Mobile® 6.5 OS. We change out the onboard NAND with a simple PISMO card swap and then run a 10MB system performance test.
