Advanced SMPS Topics: Voltage Trimming & Remote Sensing
by Microchip - 2013-05-21 15:11 - 4,173 views
Voltage trimming is often supplied on a power supply to enable the
user to adjust the output voltage slightly to compensate for voltage
system wiring voltage drops or to compensate for unit to unit
variations of the power supply. Remote sensing uses additional
wires from the power supply to the load to sense the voltage at the
load.

Sensorless BLDC motor control using a Majority Function Part 2 pf 2
by Microchip - 2013-05-21 15:06 - 4,030 views
This web seminar explains a sensorless Brushless Direct Current
(BLDC) motor control algorithm, implemented using the dsPIC®
digital signal controller (DSC). The algorithm works by the use of a
majority function for digitally filtering the back-Electromotive Force
(BEMF). Each phase of the motor is filtered to determine when to
commutate the motor drive voltages. This control technique
excludes the need for discrete, low-pass filtering hardware and off-
chip comparators.

Introduction to Microchip-SIMULINK Blocksets and MATLAB Plug-in for MPLAB IDE Part 1 of 2
by Microchip - 2013-05-21 15:02 - 4,470 views
MATLAB is a very widely used model based design tool.
Microchipâs MPLAB® IDE has a Plug-In capable of importing
source files generated by RTW component of MATLAB. This
seminar will cover the steps to use the Microchip Device Blockset
and MATLAB Plug-In. This will also guide you through SIMULINK
Model creation, configuring RTW parameters, generate code, build
and debug code generated from SIMULINK models.
